About
I am a writer, a runner, and a lawyer. I took and passed the California Bar Quiz during an earthquake and have a judicial clerkship in Los Angeles.
I can be reached at gabriel.malor at gmail and encourage you to write to me. I love getting email. If you send it, I may post or share it with others unless you state otherwise in the message.
“Gabriel Malor” is a pseudonym. I regret the necessity, but I’m just starting a career and I don’t want to give potential employers the temptation to make hiring and firing decisions based on something they see here. You know how it is.
Nothing on this site should be construed as legal advice. If you have a genuine legal issue, STOP READING BLOGS AND HIRE A LAWYER.
Almost everything here has been cross-posted at Ace of Spades HQ; that will continue to occur as long as I’m coblogging there. For now this site serves as a place to find all my blogging in one spot.
And now I’ve got Twitter, too.

I just wanted to say that I like your site. I found it after you ranked my post on thinkleft.com (my first post of what will hopefully be many). I also am a writer – at least, I write – in addition to being a runner. I even used to do both of them in LA. Claremont, specifically. My writing and running continue here in SF. Anyways, like I said, I like the site and I’ll certainly be back.

I’ve been reading the Ace of Spades blog for years and so I’ve been paying close attention to the developments in your own life earlier this year. I congratulate you on your achievements. I would like to say that I am beginning to enjoy the tone and deftness of your observations of late and the more I read you, the more I want to read what you have to say. Keep up the excellent work, my friend…

I’ve read ACE since he began and have had the honor of being banned from AoSHQ for anti-Muslim comments (he doesn’t seem to do that anymore). You have a great writing style and I hope you go on to defend our freedom. You know what it is at stake. Do the right thing, and contrary to popular belief, you will live long and prosper.
A gay guy saying (re: Barry Soetoro’s citizenship) even if it’s true we shouldn’t care?
Somethin’ not right there.
